Volunteers and donations enable the Palette & Chisel to provide programs inexpensively and to keep our buildings and grounds maintained and looking great.

We are able to offer reasonably priced classes in a variety of media, inexpensive daily open studio sessions, low-cost memberships, workshops and exhibitions.  Our volunteers and donors along with grants and other fundraising projects make this possible.

Our historic 1870s mansion was one of the first buildings erected after the Great Chicago Fire of 1871.  While it’s a wonderful showpiece and functions perfectly for our needs, this beautiful building obviously needs continued upkeep. Over the last decade, we initiated projects and made several renovations to both beautify and maintain this historic jewel.  These efforts were successful, in great part, through the generosity of our many donors.  

The Palette & Chisel’s volunteers and benefactors provide much needed support.  You can do your part to help keep this wonderful institution going strong.
